Read today in the London Guardian an article entitled ‘The case of the Frankenstein Nefertiti: it’s time to revolt against ugly public art’ by Jonathan Jones. KUDOS!

If you recall, a couple of the Communist objectives to achieve (see post below ‘Scammed Again’) were:
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”

It’s a wonderful thing when people decide that beauty has a place in their lives, and these ‘substitutions’ are not welcome.

When one is surrounded by beauty, we tend to be more peaceful, more creative, and more innovative. The Egyptians have started us all on a good path. Let’s join them in the pursuit of beauty and remove these horrid pieces of psuedo ‘art’ from our lives, and put in the beautiful sculpture, paintings and masonry to enhance and grace our lives once more!
